A wide vertical panel of diamond-patterned embroidery runs down the front of this linen jalabiya, worked in coral, grey, mint and black thread and repeated on the cuffs in a narrower border. A band collar opens in a high split neckline, and the long sleeves fall wide and straight from the shoulder. The body widens gently to a long, flowing hem, keeping the plain sides and back clean against the patterned front. The linen has a soft, natural hand with a light texture. It comes in white, green, beige and black, and suits daytime outings, Eid visits and family gatherings.
